Fedora 8 Pre-Release Test Coordination
This page contains some installation tests that should be performed before Fedora 8.

Current Testing Tree
The current public release candidate is RC3, which is available on http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/.
The final set of images (RC5) includes fixes for the bugs noted below. Current Rawhide includes these fixes also, so - if possible - use rawhide for testing instead of the RC3 images.

Status Whiteboard
These are notes on issues we've encountered that may not be on the blocker list yet.
- #362721 : rhgb crashing/getting stuck on first boot. Still tracing this one; a reboot fixes the problem. Fixed: reverted to known-good rhgb-0.17.7-3.fc8 for F8 release
- #357401 : Install failure with dmraid and live image. Fixed in anaconda-11.3.0.50-2
- #344181 : System failing filesystem check on first boot and dropping to text mode root prompt. Related to previous rhgb bug, fixed in final release.

Any proposed changes to the distribution at this point should fix a bug on one of these lists.
