- systemd/udev now uses the predictable network interface names, so you need to specify your interface like enccw0.0.0600 instead of eth0 in the parameters file
- 3.17 kernels block output to console for some reason, meaning less information is printed during startup and no login on console (bug 1158848)
- the DVD image contains modified generic.prm file with an option that allows entering additional parameters for dracut during startup and keeping the generic.prm file unmodified
