All EPEL packages should normally be maintained in Fedora, thus if you want to see a package in EPEL that is not yet part of Fedora please add it to Fedora's [[PackageMaintainers/WishList| package wish list]] instead.  If you are unsure if a package is part of Fedora simply add it below if you have a FAS account or [[EPEL/FAQ#contact|  contact]] the EPEL team.

Package Wish List

All the packages in Fedora that are not already in EPEL are wished for in EPEL. The maintainers may not be able to get a Fedora package in EPEL due to missing dependencies, or because the package is not stable enough for EPEL, but otherwise the road to EPEL should be the inclusion in Fedora. The best to get a package in EPEL is therefore to add the package in wishlist for Fedora.

It is possible to have packages only in EPEL, for example if the functionality has already been merged in a more recent package in Fedora, but it should be exceptional.

If the package is in Fedora but not in EPEL, a packager willing to maintain the package is to be found (see here for contact information) and then the procedures to follow are outlined here.
