Chi sono i BugZappers?

Siamo un gruppo di volontari e di impiegati Red Hat il cui scopo primario è rivedere e smistare i vari bug inviati a bugzilla.redhat.com, agendo da intermediari tra gli utenti e gli sviluppatori, al fine di aiutare a trovare e risolvere i bug.

La pagina Bugs/Common, che aiutiamo a mantenere, contiene informazioni molto utili.

Si richide aiuto

Il servizio di smistamento dei bug aiuta i manutentori di pacchetti a dedicare più tempo alla risoluzione dei bug e più risorse alla necessaria assistenza degli utenti di Fedora. Non è necessario avere conoscenze di programmazione, e gli smistatori non necessariamente devono capire i bug su cui lavorano - facilitano solo lo scambio di informazioni sui bug.

Attività

  • Smistare i bug Fedora in Bugzilla. Richiedere informazioni mancanti, verificare che sia stato selezionato il componente giusto, e chiudere i duplicati.
  • Segnare i bug, "target" e "blocker" (riportati quì) che dovrebbero essere risolti prima del successivo rilascio, in accordo con le release criteria.
  • Perform housekeeping during release EOL ("End of Life") transitions in collaborazione con ReleaseEngineering.
