manage applications on startup in GNOME 3

Startup applications are automatically started when you log in. With the program gnome-tweaks you can easily manage startup applications.

After the program gnome-tweaks is installed

# dnf install gnome-tweaks

you can start it:

$ gnome-tweaks

Add a startup application with gnome-tweaks

login automatic

Edit the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file and make sure that the [daemon] section in the file specifies the following:

[daemon]
AutomaticLoginEnable=True
AutomaticLogin=username
