From Fedora Project Wiki

Below are the goals for the Docs Project guides for Fedora 14.

Accessibility Guide

The current structure seems pretty much okay, but I plan to add a significant amount of content for f14, including the following:

  • sections for other desktop environments supported by fedora (xfce, sugar, lxde).
  • information on other tools, such as:
    • dasher (Predictive text)
    • gok (GNOME Onscreen Keyboard)
    • Indic Onscreen Keyboard
    • kttsmgr (Text to Speech)
    • basic information on screen resolution tools and sound control.

I am also thinking of mentioning localization (making fedora accessible to people of different countries, languages, cultural backgrounds), and also accessibility for children while they are in the process of developing literacy skills (sugar).

Any other suggestions also welcome!

Burning ISO images to disc

  • Working on getting a trusted SHA256 application for Windows and add to guide to close out bug #527060
  • Added infrarecorder to Windows section to include a free and open source tool for people that don't have one already / check burning speeds as reported in bug #527854
  • Verify / fix bug #527106 (Gnome menu verbage has changed)
