== Input methods ==
Users of input-methods upgrading from earlier versions of Fedora may need to install ibus-gtk3 or GTK3 versions of their GTK immodules if available, in order for input-methods to continue working normally on their desktop.
[http://desktopi18n.wordpress.com/2010/10/06/ibus-xkb/ IBus XKB] feature is now available, which can add keyboard layouts as input method engines especially for European keyboards and also can customize the session keyboard layout for your input method engine.
IBus surrounding-text feature now allows to get the typed characters for input method engines. It can enhance Sinhala, Tamil and Thai engines with ibus-m17n.
im-chooser (via imsettings) now allows to fully disable input-methods for users that do not need X locale compose support (using XIM): so Unicode input with Control+Shift+u works again in GTK applications by default when not using input-methods like ibus.
ibus-pinyin now have a lua script extension support, it will try to load lua script in ~/.ibus/pinyin/base.lua or /usr/share/ibus-pinyin/base.lua. Press the 'i' key in single pinyin mode, it will trigger the lua script extension, and show the available lua script function input helpers in the candidate list.
ibus-anthy now has the [http://desktopi18n.wordpress.com/2010/10/18/ibus-anthy-1-2-3-was-released/ custom key table] feature. You can define the custom keys for Hiragana, Katakana and Thumb-Shift. If you see a preedit-text is not converted with F7 or F8 key, Please refer the [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Common_F14_bugs#Crash_of_ibus-anthy_with_F7_or_F8_keys Release Notes].
ibus-qt now supports to draw preedit strings with colors.

=== Chinese ===
For Simplified Chinese, the default desktop font is WenQuanYi ZenHei; for Traditional Chinese, the default desktop font is UMing.
For WenQuanYi ZenHei, a simple tool zenheiset has been introduced, which allows changing its rendering between the default anti-aliased outline and bitmap rendering.
