FAD Brasil 2013
Proposal
The FAD Brazil 2013 is an event aimed at an activity day and Fedora's main objective:
- Add value to the Project Fedora;
- Add people to contribute to the Fedora Project.
The major problem in today's world and in Brazil is very low contribution to the Fedora Project, thinking that aspects have as secondary objectives:
- Increase the level of contribution in Brazil;
- Increase participation in projects of packaging;
- Increase participation in projects of translation
- Increase participation in projects of documentation and other areas;
Resources/Public Target
We started contacting local Universities, and Faculdade Bandeirantes kindly offered us to host the the conference, and suggested to pre-scheduled it from 8th to 10th of November. They are going to be our partners in this initiative and the infrastructure offered includes:
- A big room with capacity for 200 people to be used for presentations
- Up to 10 labs with computers for activities
- A place for expositions (tables or small booths)
- A place for a Coffee Break (we’ll look for local sponsors)
- Marketing in local media (TV, Radio, Newspapers, Outdoors)
- Free internet access and power outlets available in all rooms
