Dell XPS 15 9550 (FHD version) F25 test results

The XPS 15 was successfully tested using F25 Workstation x86_64 running kernel-4.8.16-300.fc25.x86_64. Docking station functionality was not tested.

F25 known issues

  • Bluetooth requires a firmware file which is not part of Fedora. Workaround: Download this file and safe it as /lib/firmware/brcm/BCM-0a5c-6410.hcd .

Dell XPS 15 9550 (FHD version) notes

The backlight of the Dell XPS 15 9550 is known to flicker in the lowest brightness setting this can be fixed by upgrading the BIOS to version 01.02.14 or later.
