How to help
You can help in one of two ways: (1) Write a feature profile! or (2) Make it easier for others to write good feature profiles - by pulling together resources, tips, a guide, teaching others how to do things, and so forth. A good way to tackle both at the same time is to write a feature profile and simultaneously send notes to the marketing list on what you're doing and where you see gaps in the Feature profiles SOP (documentation) - edit that page as you go along with questions and the things you've learned. Remember, feature profiles are targeted towards our User base.

Who to ask for help
Any of the people in the "Owner" column in the table below will be good people to ask for help. Also look for the authors of feature profiles for prior releases, particularly the feature profiles you like, and ask them for tips.

Template

For each feature, the marketing owner should do several things:

1. Create a wiki page that can be the home of the work that you do.
2. Conduct an interview with the primary developer(s). Written, podcast, or both. Stickster has written up a great wiki on how to make a podcast for those that are interested.
3. Make sure that the feature is reflected on the talking points.
4. Prepare a tutorial or screenshot tour of the feature.

boot.fedoraproject.org et vous	Paul Frields		Nous ne sommes pas les seuls utilisateurs ou les mainteneurs ici mais nous voulons mettre en avant cet éclairage parce que c'est une fonctionnalité sympathique qui mérite d'être connue. Le bénéfice pour la communauté Fedora est d'encourager une pensée plus audacieuse sur les médias et dépasser le schéma "média == CD/DVD".
Amélioration matérielle dans Fedora 13	Robyn Bergeron		Cet éclairage valorise le slogan Freedom, Features, First and Friends (Liberté, Fonctionnalité, Excellence et amitié) du fait que la plupart des fonctionnalités ont été conçu collaborativement. Couvre les sujets de conversations "support expérimental de la 3D dans Nouveau", "installation automatisée des pilotes d'impression", et "gestion des couleurs".
btrfs dans Fedora 13	David Nalley		Le récit d'un processus d'ingénieurie modèle, implication très forte de Red Hat, mais également du projet OLPC (la variante de Fedora la plus déployée) et permet d'interviewer les développeurs et testeurs couvrant la totalité du processus.
NetworkManager dans Fedora 13	Nelson Marques		C'est un composant important pour quasiment tout les utilisateurs. Les améliorations portés à la prise en charge des modems et Bluetooth aiderons les utilisateurs n'ayant pas la chance d'accéder aux réseaux internet haut-débit, et les outils en ligne de commande étaient très attendus et rendront services en cas de problèmes d'affichage.
SSSD idans Fedora 13	Robyn Bergeron		Cet éclairage couvre SSSD - ce que c'est et commment peut-il rendre service aux utilisateurs et administrateurs système. Cela couvrira le processus communautaire de développement, et plus important mettra en avant l'aspect First (Excellence) des quatre Foundations Fondations. SSD est un projet Fedora, Fedora 13 embarque la version la plus récente, mais d'autres distributions le fournissent.
RPM 4.8 dans Fedora 13	Nelson Marques		Parce que c'est important, parce que c'est notre gestionnaire de paquets.
