Greetings,

We would like to invite your organization to attend and participate in FUDCon APAC 2015, it is held at MIT COE from 26 to 28 June 2015.

What is FUDCon.

Fedora is a Linux distribution and a development platform. And FUDCon is the Fedora User's and Developer's Conference, a major free software event held in various regions around the world, annually ones per region. 2015 APAC edition of FUDCon will be held in Pune.

FUDCon is a mix of sessions ranging from technology introductions to deep dives, hands-on workshops and sessions where like-minded people get together to discuss a project/technology and hack-fests where contributors work on specific initiatives.

Why FUDCon

FUDCon has always been high quality event where Fedora contributors from different parts of the world converge together to discuss ideas in person.

We have people flying in from far places to come and talk about Fedora, the future of Fedora which is upstream of a premier Enterprise Operating system. So if you want to know more of what future RHEL would look like, FUDCon is an apt venue for you.

Fedora has best people, professionals and developers and they all collaborate on events like FUDCon so it's best time to interact with them. We have Hack-fests[1] where contributors can work together to focus on specific tasks (which could range from packaging, writing feature or some UI mockups).

Bar Camps[2] is more of un-conference, where people interested in wide range of issues/topics come together to share and learn. Here speakers pitch their sessions in the morning for Bar Camp and lot of groups interested in the topics listed can sit together and share ideas or learn. The most exciting part is anybody can standup and talk in front of 100 or so audience and share their views.
