Software Globalization is huge domain. Each domain include its peculiarity and jargon's. We have sub-divided each domain as following and more information available in respective wiki pages.

Localization

Localization is more suitable for contributors having any regional language knowledge. It is recommended way to start contributing to Fedora as a translator. Since new contributor know about his language and he just need to learn process in Fedora project. Once he is more familiar with Fedora he can start looking in other opportunities.
