== Installing and Running ==
poker2d is available under the Fedora Community repository, and can be installed using the ''yum'' tool. To install, either use a front-end tool (like ''pirut'') or issue the following command in a terminal as root:

This will grab the game and all its dependencies from the Internet, so you need to be connected to the Internet. After installing, you can run the program under the menu:

== Configuration ==
poker2d will create a directory in your <code>$HOME</code> directory called <code>.poker2d/</code>.  This directory contains a file called <code>poker2d.xml</code> which contains configuration parameters such as which server to establish a connection with.
Other configuration options may be set from the Options menu in game.
== Gameplay ==
poker2d is automatically configured to connect to <code>poker.pokersource.info</code> where you will be able to create an account and start playing.  Once connected, you can select the type of game you wish to play by pressing the buttons at the top of the screen from the lobby.  Two types of money are available, <code>play</code> and <code>custom</code>, where custom money is usually considered to be real money, but varies from server to server.

KDE users who installed the <code>poker2d-kde</code> package will have the following hot-keys available to them:
* <code>CTRL-C</code> - Call
* <code>CTRL-R</code> - Raise
* <code>CTRL-Right</code> - Increase Raise
* <code>CTRL-Left</code> - Decrease Raise
* <code>CTRL-Up</code> - Increase Raise by amount of big blind
* <code>CTRL-Down</code> - Decrease Raise by amount of big blind
* <code>CTRL-P</code> - Raise the amount that is in the pot
* <code>CTRL-H</code> - Raise half the amount that is in the pot
* <code>CTRL-F</code> - Fold
== Tips ==
* You can win real money for free by playing in freeroll tournaments.  These are sometimes hosted by the default server and you can locate them by clicking on the "Regular" and "Custom Money" buttons.
