* Held since 2004, Latinoware is currently one of the biggest events in the world of free software. The event is held in Foz do Iguaçu, a Brazilian city located in a region called the Triple Border, near Argentina and Paraguay. It is estimated that about 4000 people, including students, professionals and specialists, participate in the event, which will take place between 19th and 21th October at the Itaipu Technological Park (PTI).
 
Held since 2004, Latinoware is one of the most important FOSS conferences in Latin America. Since the beginning the conference takes place at the facilities of Itaipu Technological Park, in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.
 
Every year Latinoware receives visitors from all countries in Latin America and the expected number of attendees for this edition is around 6000 people.
