Description

Test searching from the Activities Overview.


How to test

  1. Open the Activites Overview by: pressing the Super key (also known as the Windows key), touching the top-left screen corner with the pointer, or clicking Activities in the top bar.
  2. Type 'documents' (typed text should appear in tho search box, with no need to manually focus it), and observe the result.
  3. Clear the search box, and type 'date', and observe the result.
  4. Clear the search box, and type 'firefox', and observe the result.
  5. Open search results by pressing return or clicking.
  6. Navigate the results list using the keyboard.

Expected Results

  1. Search for 'desktop' should return a result for the Documents folder.
  2. Searching for 'date' should return a settings panel for 'Date & Time'.
  3. Searching for 'firefox' should return the 'Firefox' app launcher.
