[[User:Robatino|robatino]] - Is there a way to do this test using a virtual guest, if the host doesn't have a serial port?  VirtualBox has "host pipe" and "raw file" options for the Port Mode but I haven't been able to figure out how to get two-way communication through them (though I can get read-only using raw file and reading the file).

[[User:BobLfoot|boblfoot]]  - Performed this test for F16alphaRC5i386 with qemu/kvm using virsh to start the VM and virsh cosnole to connect to the serial interface.  It should probably be noted that this install does a minimal install from fp.o.  Users with a slow connection to fp.o should specify a "repo=http://Local.Server.Address/repo" on the kernel line as well for speedier testing. IMHO.
