Computer Modern Unicode

OTF conversion of the well-known TEX fonts. Lots of styles, good coverage, distinguished history. Good text print fonts, not so good as screen fonts given current hardware limitations.

needs checking by legal to make sure licensing is compatible with the converted materials.
needs work by someone familiar with TEX to adapt the build process to rpmbuild context with the Fedora versions of fontforge and TEX.

Needs to be built from sources with Fedora fontforge.
Needs two subpackages, one for the OTF version the other for the TTF version.
Needs the same fontconfig substitution rules as DejaVu/DejaVu LGC so switching from Old Standard to Old Standard TT is transparent.

UN

The UN fonts package is a longtime Korean favorite, with users going as far as boycotting distributions that omit it. It's big (6 fonts in 9 faces). Fontconfig has been changed upstream to use it as default Korean font set instead of Baekmuk (traditional Fedora Korean font).

UN fonts are probably best packaged by a Korean speaker, but this is not a hard rule.
Upstream needs to be contacted to add the usual FSF font embedding exception to the license.
