This page helps you find information and resources about spins.

What are Spins?

Spins are alternate versions of Fedora, tailored for various types of users via hand-picked application sets and other customizations. There's more information located here. They were first offered in Fedora with the release of Fedora 7 in May 2007.

Where can I find them?

Check out http://spins.fedoraproject.org for a full list of all the spins currently offered, and information about each.

Who makes these Spins?

We have a Spins special interest group (SIG) that makes sure Spins are current and meet with our guidelines for production. For more information about the Spins SIG, refer to their wiki page.

How do I create my own spin?

More information on creating spins is available here on the wiki.
