Is openoffice really more of a GNOME app? (see top section)  I thought it was not tied to any desktop environment.  Koffice for KDE and abiwod/gnumeric for GNOME.  Should we be mentioning that openoffice is available for other platforms (without actually mentioning which ones) assisting with compatibility of office suites.  Just a thought.

Susan:
I updated the Abiword icon and formated the paragraph under where it talks about OpenOffice & KDE so folks know that both desktops can run either, take a look and see what you think.

kword and abiword icons changed. I didn't see a gnumeric icon in rawhide so that may be changing too. I am not sure when I can new images for these. Laubersm 01:12, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Never mind about the kword one - it just uses a different icon in GNOME under office menu. There is no change if I log in directly to the KDE desktop then look for it in the menus. Abiword is also different between the desktops but since it is more of a GNOME app, that would be the better icon to use. Laubersm 01:20, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
