Can Fedora be installed on a MacBook?

Support for PowerPc appears to have been dropped in Fedora 13 (according to http://mac.linux.be/content/fedora-13-drop-ppc-support), does this change whether or not Fedora can be installed on MacBook?

If Fedora can be installed can it also be used to resize existing partitions? http://www.redhat.com/magazine/007may05/features/mac-mini/ indicates Fedora is unable to resize HFS+ partitions so I assume this will not be possible.
