Hi, I'm the upstream maintainer for VoR. We have not added any major features recently, because the game is great the way it is! However, we're still here, and we're ready to address concerns and bugs. We have a nice record of this if you browse through the commit logs (for example we made new music when a debian reviewer noticed that the project we forked from didn't say specifically that the game's music was redistributable.)

VoR is maintained

Hi, I'm the upstream maintainer for VoR. We have not added any major features recently, because the game is great the way it is! However, we're still here, and we're ready to address concerns and bugs. We have a nice record of this if you browse through the commit logs (for example we made new music when a debian reviewer noticed that the project we forked from didn't say specifically that the game's music was redistributable.)

Only time will tell if/when we'll add new features, but we'll certainly continue to maintain the codebase.

Anyway, I moved VoR out of the "don't package this because it's dead" category, hope that was the right thing to do.

Oh, and packaging is under way. User:Thomasj has got some nice packages built, and I think we need reviewing now. -- Jasonwoof 08:01, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
