Template documentation [edit]

This documentation is transcluded from Template:Move user page/doc. It will not be transcluded on pages that use this template.

Put this on a user's talk page by using:

{{subst:move user page|old page name|~~~~}}

Of course, replace old page name with the name of the page that needs to be moved.

Placing a message on their talk page will let them know that they need to move it themselves. On their next page view, they will see that they have new messages on their talk page.
