Description

This test case tests whether the chosen input method can be selected successfully.


How to test

  1. Right click on the ibus applet icon and select Preferences (or run ibus-setup)
  2. Select the 'Input Method' page
  3. Add the Input Method(s) you wish to use
  4. Left click on the ibus applet icon in the panel
  5. Optionally you can try to logout and login to a new desktop session to check your chosen input methods are still there.
  6. If you wish to clean up the engine list, run 'ibus exit' and 'ibus reset-config'.

Expected Results

  1. Your chosen Input Methods should be listed in the language menu of the ibus applet.
