Profile

I am a leading expert of the united dispatching control board of the power supply systems of the Northwest of Russia.

My sphere of activity - introduction of various Linux-technologies and monitoring of our Linux administrators. Specificity of our system - a plenty of servers of constant highest availability in some heterogeneous structure (both Linux and other OSes are used together).

In Linux since 1996.
First patch for open-source in 1995 (gcc)
Using RedHat/Fedora since RH-5.0
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RH9 , RHEL5 )

In my work I use Linux desktop only (all the career). I still like the ancient unix ifaces (command line, curses, vi, mc) because my first workstation had only serial ttys :)
