I was OSS lovers and like to collaborate with others to do xtvt about OSS events, seminars, conference and workshop. I was already 30+ and work as Sys Admin almost 10 years.
I am OSS lover and like to collaborate with others to do activities such as OSS event, seminar, conference and workshop. I am 30+ years old and work as system administrator almost 10 years


I already playing about OSS specially in linux 1996 and around 2004 i play with Fedora Core. Fedora was geek and help user to understanding what the core of linux.

So i started join the mainstream community around 2009 and with collaboration with others OSS community i done OSS conference called "Malaysia Open Source Conference" (MOSC). The conference was a platform to me to promote about OSS and i done like Bird of Feather, Install Fest and Contest.

I involved in organizing the biggest OSS event in Malaysia called "Malaysia Open Source Conference 2010" (MOSC 2010). The conference is a platform to me & others to promote about OSS in Malaysia and side activities during the conference likes Bird of Feather, Install Fest and Contest.


OpenSUSE in Malaysia was not big as the others Distro like ubuntu, openSUSE, freebsd, debian, centos and others. To make it happen i need more xtvt to promote what is fedora for and what the strength can do with fedora project. So far i did many events with OSDC.MY club, Fedora Malaysia and Redhat Malaysia.

Saya adalah pecinta OSS dan berminat untuk berkerjasama dengan yang lain untuk membuat sebarang xtvt berkaitan acara, seminar, persidangan dan bengkel. Saya dalam 30-an dan bekerja sebagai sistem admin.

Saya sudah berkecimpung dalam dunia OSS terutama menggunakan linux tahun 1996 dan dalam tahun 2006 saya menggunakan openSUSE. openSUSE satu sistem operasi yang rawk! dan banyak kelebihan dan juga ia juga distro mesra pengguna.

Jadi saya bermula menceburi komuniti di arus perdana dalam tahun 2009 dan berkerjasama dengan komuniti yang lain untuk mengadakan persidangan yang dinamakan "Malaysia Open Source Conference" (MOSC) atau "Persidangan Sumber Terbuka Malaysia". Dengan adanya persidangan tersebut dapatlah menjadi batu loncatan untuk saya memperkenalkan perisisan sumber terbuka (OSS) dan banyak perkara kami lakukan seperti BOF, Install Fest dan Peraduan.

Komuniti Fedora Malaysia tidaklah sebesar mana dan tidaklah sepopular dari distro yang lain seperti ubuntu, openSUSE, freebsd, debian, centos dan yang lain. Tetapi untuk memantapkan lagi komuniti fedora ini di Malaysia saya akan memperbanyakkan xtvt dan memperkenalkan kekuatan yang ada mengenai Projek Fedora. Buat masa ini saya banyak melakukan xtvt dengan kelab OSDC.MY, Fedora Malaysia dan redhat Malaysia.

Dengan harapan pada tahun depan akan diperbanyakkan xtvt Fedora di Malaysia
