commitment to freedom, since for me the most important thing is freedom, not only on software, but on every little aspect of each person's life.
My first contact with Fedora was when I installed Fedora Core 5 (I still have the DVD here somewhere!). Back then I didn't quite enjoy the experience, but I kept trying each new version,
and each version got better and better, until I completely adopted it as my main distribution (Fedora 11 if I'm not mistaken). Since then it's much freedom and joy!
I realized that I had to give something back to the project, so I decided to join the translation team.

About me

Born and raised at Não-Me-Toque-RS, a small town on the country side of Rio Grande do Sul state, I moved to Porto Alegre, the state capitol, on 2007 to attend to college, Computer Engineer at UFRGS; however, my interest in GNU/Linux started way before that on 2003 when I first heard and read about GNU/Linux and instantly fell in love by its commitment to freedom, since for me the most important thing is freedom, not only on software, but on every little aspect of each person's life.

My first contact with Fedora was when I installed Fedora Core 5 (I still have the DVD here somewhere!). Back then I didn't quite enjoy the experience, but I kept trying each new version, and each version got better and better, until I completely adopted it as my main distribution (Fedora 11 if I'm not mistaken). Since then it's much freedom and joy! I realized that I had to give something back to the project, so I decided to join the translation team.
