I am Jatin, working as a network administrator in Financial institution(Banking), I've completed CCNA and now working/practising to get my RHCE.
I am using Linux since last 4 years , fedora is my favourite destro as it is available free of cost and is open source. For me it was a panic task to get fedora from Internet as I was not able to get fast Internet connection (wasn't able to pay the cost for Internet ). but after searching the google I came to know that there is group who provides the media free of cost and at doorstep also , this how I got my first fedora cd/dvd from free-media program. Now a days I'm able to download the latest release of Fedora from the Internet and also able to spend for blank DVD media, so I've decided to help the people like me to get fedora free of cost by joining the free-media provider it would be great if I help someone , as some people helped me

About Me
I am Aveek, an engineering student, currently pursuing my Graduation in the field of Electronics & Communication at NIT Agartala, India.
I first made headway into Linux in my eighth standard but could't properly do the partitioning. I started using Linux almost an year back when I entered the college. Then I went to NIT Durgapur's Linux fest Mukti & am using the insights gained there for further headway.

Activities with Fedora
- I try to spread Fedora awareness in my college

- I plan to bring Fedora into my home town and surrounding areas by popularizing it among my friends at BIT Mesra & other local colleges
- I also plan to introduce it in my school at Calcutta-St. Paul's Mission
- I want to deploy Fedora in schools and general colleges and provide support so that it can be used in quality education
I am looking forward to an even greater association with Fedora in future.
