Joseph Smidt

I am a student at UC Irvine pursuing a PhD in Physics. I am a firm believer that open source software gives people the ability to be more productive. I believe this, not because of theory, but because I have found that open source software has greatly simplified my life and enhanced my own productivity, as well as many others I have met. Furthermore I believe the Red Hat/Fedora ecosystem is the greatest model for expanding open source throughout the world.
