Notes

  • Default GNOME session crashes after authentication from login screen -> Bug from xorg-x11-drv-ati driver
  • GNOME on Wayland runs smoothly with some known issues such as cursor animation, totem and cheese segmentation fault
  • High power consumption due to lack of optimal power management

Summary

All test is done is Fedora Workstation 22 TC4. The recent upgrade brought a nearly out-of-box experience except the hotkeys and proper power management.
