| Hi there! My name is Leonardo Vaz, I'm living in Porto Alegre, Brazil and I am currently a Senior Software Maintenance Engineer at Red Hat specializing on local filesystem (XFS, Ext*, Btrfs) and most recently on distributed filesystems (Ceph and Gluster).

| My first contact with Free Software was back in 1998 when I got Red Hat Linux 5.1 (Manhattan) installed in my old Pentium 100MHz with 8MiB of RAM. On the last 18 years I've been running FOSS on all my computers and servers. I'm a former [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conectiva Conectiva] employee and I was responsible for the [http://tchelinux.org/ Tchelinux LUG] between 2006-2010 and started contributing with the group recently.
