About me

My name is Marcos Morais, I'm from Brazil. I'm a Linux user since 1997 and most of the time I used Red Hat based distros, like Red Hat itself, CentOS and Fedora. I've experience organizing some install fests and creating a Linux user group. I've been working mainly with networking, web servers and virtualization.

Please let me know if you would like to chat about Linux, networking, virtualization or about something that I could be helpful.

What am I doing here?

My goal in the Fedora Project is to bring people information about the project and how it can be useful in their lives. I try to do this through presentations, translating documentation and installfests.

Activities within Fedora

  • Currently at the company I work for I'm leading a project to migrate all 300 workstations from Microsoft Windows 8 to Fedora Workstation 23.
  • I'm planning the schedule and content for two presentations about Fedora at a branch of Estacio University.
