My name is Pascal Klein (p.p.k[at]web.de). I am an engineer of environmental techniques and have worked for different jobs, mainly as system programmer.

At the end of the 1990ies I got used to Linux. The first distribution I used was SuSE 5.0. Since then I always had at least one machine - all of my three machines have AMD processors - only running Linux. Some years ago I started with Fedora 15.

I also use Virtual Box for testing actual Fedora Releases, also Rawhide. Other distributions - Sabayon, OpenSuSE and Ubuntu - are also installed. I am familiar with e.g.:

  • rpm, yum (zypper, equo, apt-get)
  • grub legacy, grub2
  • kernel compilation
  • other compilation tasks

My wish is to contribute to Fedora Linux, mainly the below mentioned topics:

  • in general testing, thus maybe:
* Quality assurance of a new (Alpha, Beta, Test) releases
* Quality assurance or testing of any kind of software or configuration
