I first became involved with the Fedora Project in the fall of 2013 when I heard about Gnome's Outreach Program for Woman. I applied to become a Fedora Badges intern and upon acceptance I participated in the seventh session of the OPW program. During my internship I designed over 70 Fedora badges. I designed the Fedora Badges Official Style Guide. I created a 'Design Resources' page on the Fedora Badges trac to supply the community with the style guide and badge content.

I applied to become a Fedora Badges intern and upon acceptance I participated in the seventh session of the program. During my internship I designed over 70 Fedora badges as well as the first version of the Fedora Badges Official Style Guide. Over the past 5 years, I continued to stay involved with the Fedora Badges project, taking a leadership role on the Design side of the subproject. I take volunteer time to triage, mentor, and hold workshops/hackfests for Fedora badges.

Since the completion of my internship in the spring of 2014, I have continued to stay involved with the Fedora Badges project. My total Fedora Badges live on https://badges.fedoraproject.org/ is now over 100!
I have also been involved in the Fedora Design team over the years, attending events, creating t-shirts, helping with logos, and various design related tasks.

Recently I have begun getting involved in other small Fedora design projects, such as creating assets for the new https://getfedora.org/ page.
Most recently, I have accept a position as Fedora's Community Action and Impact Coordinator. This is an exciting new turn for my passion towards this project and community.

Fedora

I first became involved with the Fedora Project in the fall of 2013 when I heard about Gnome's Outreachy Program.

I have also been involved in the Fedora Design team over the years, attending events, creating t-shirts, helping with logos, and various design related tasks.

Most recently, I have accept a position as Fedora's Community Action and Impact Coordinator. This is an exciting new turn for my passion towards this project and community.
