John McDonough (jjmcd) [https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/ourmidland/obituary.aspx?n=john-mcdonough&pid=196046706 passed away on 20 April 2020]. John was a long-time contributor to Fedora Docs. For many years, he was the driving force behind the Technical Notes and the Release Notes. John was a kind an patient mentor to many Docs contributors. He was passionate about open source and amateur radio (callsign WB8RCR).
Seth was a lead developer of yum and the update repository system, and a contributor to the CentOS project as well as the original Fedora Extras system. He worked tirelessly on the infrastructure for the Fedora Project to make all systems work well and consistently for our contributors around the world. He was a gifted speaker, a brilliant thinker, a clever wit, a humble and genuinely funny person, and a good friend.

Seth Vidal

We mourn the loss of Seth Vidal

Seth was a lead developer of yum and the update repository system, and a contributor to the CentOS project as well as the original Fedora Extras system. He worked tirelessly on the infrastructure for the Fedora Project to make all systems work well and consistently for our contributors around the world.
