Xorg

Xorg

X.org is an open source implementation of the X Window System. It provides the basic low level functionality Desktop Environments such as GNOME and KDE are designed upon. Previously monolithic, the modular release model of Xorg enables users to receive updates at a faster pace, and helps developers to develop and release specific components in a rapid fashion.
