We are allowing approximately 10 days for translation between POT dropoff and PO pickup, for the CVS modules involved. This will result in up-to-date content missing from the release notes. Here is how we address that:
- Early requests for relnotes
- Publicize this schedule, no surprises
- First and most prominent link at the top of the relnotes points the reader at the online version of the relnotes
- This online version will be updated the day of FC release
- Will be in CVS
- Will need translation ASAP
- This helps make the next trans cycle shorter
- Will be posted live in rolling releases
Fedora 7 - Guides, Tutorials, FAQs, etc.
Guides are any document in XML that is not the release notes. This covers FAQs, tutorials, and full guides.

For Fedora 7, we are working on the Desktop User Guide and the Installation Guide . We want to reach a milestone of a usable alpha/draft for test3, to give it a chance to be vetted by the community.
