cmark 0.31

Summary

Update the cmark package and library to version 0.31.1 (or later).

Various dependent packages will be rebuilt against it.

Detailed Description

This should be a straightforward change: cmark will be updated from 0.30.3 to 0.31.1.

The main effort is just rebuilding all the dependent packages to avoid dependency breakage, since cmark-lib has a tight soname.

The list of known dependent packages is given below in the Dependencies section.

We ship the latest version of cmark (a well-known markdown library and tool).

Scope

  • Proposal owners:
    • do scratch builds to make sure everything rebuilds with the new cmark [done]
    • create a rawhide sidetag for building [f44-build-side-125502]
    • build new cmark version in sidetag [done]
    • rebuild dependent packages with any required coordination with maintainers (bz#2260869)

    • help with coordination if needed
