There many big campus there, one is Universitas Indonesia, the biggest university in Indonesia, beside them Gunadarma University and Universty of Pancasila. Many user and contributor start from student of University. And we see, it will biggest opportunity to archive the goal.

Visa:
You can get a Tourist, Business or Conference Visa to attend the FUDCon APAC. The Indonesian Visa is issued in a form of a sticker attached to the applicant passport. An Indonesian visa is valid from the day it is issued, not from the day you arrive in the country. The Indonesian visa must be used within the maximum of 90 days since it was issued, if the period is exceeded, the visa applicant may need to re-apply the application for obtaining the visa.
For further information on this, please check with local embassy office or Indonesian Visa Application center office or websites for information on applicable fee and payment methods.
Visa application limited only 500 per day.
Visa on Arrival (VoA)
Visa on Arrival can be obtained directly when you are landed at the airports or seaports in Indonesia. Visa on Arrival is given to person who has come with holiday/leisure, business or social visit purposes in Indonesia. The maximum length of stay is 30 days and that can be extended for another 30 days.
This visa will be issued at the airport/sea port when you enter Indonesia. All you need to bring is:
- Passport – which has to be valid at least 6 months from planned entrance
- Return ticket are compulsory
- Visa fee (preferably in cash)
‘Alien passport, Travel document and Temporary Passport‘ is not acceptable as a traveling document to Indonesia.

Free Visa
Nationals or passport holders of Brunei Darusaalam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Chile, Morocco, Ecuador and Peru are given visa-free entry facility for maximum of 30 days. The visa can be extended for another 30 days but cannot be transferred to another type of visa. All citizens from above mentioned countries have to enter Indonesia through a number of air ports and sea ports.

Depok has a wide variety of accommodation, ranging from budget guesthouses (about USD$5-20) to good quality mid-range hotels (US$20-50) to extravagant palaces with extravagant prices to match.

Mulia Catering is one the common catering with the reliable services and affordable price. Mulia catering provide a package for one lunch and two coffee breaks for US$5 per person per day. Mulia Catering required 50% deposit and they do accept bank wire transfer and 50% of the amount is credited to pay within one week after the event date.
Telephone & Internet:
When you arrive in Soekarno-Hatta for first time, you can use free wifi in Airport to contact committee or search what you need. The connection speed is realible too.
Cheap SIM cards from $1 for GSM phones are available on almost any major street. A vendor should have an activated test card to be used to make sure your phone will operate on that network.
Telkomsel and Indosat have the best coverage around the whole of Indonesia. Indosat is particularly good for their internet packages (e.g. 24GB for tree month for $5) and they allow hotspot tethering from you smart phone. Useful if you use a laptop a lot and want to use wifi via your hotspot enabled smart phone.

Indonesia uses rupiah (IDR) for currency. 1 US$ = 12.900~13.500.
Credit cards are not widely used, mainly in the good hotels and restaurant but you can use them in banks to get cash in advance for a small fee. ATM are widely spreaded and pay out in IDR.
Please bring USD$ with you and exchage it in Moneychanger at Airport or near your hotel. All ATM use Indonesian Rupiah only.
Local Transport:
From Airport
You can use Bus Damri, destination Depok. Drop in last stop Depok Bus Station. Cost Damri: under $4 (Rp. 40.000). From Bus station can use angkot D11 and drop front of Pondok Cina Station. Next just walking to Venue. Alternate: Go to Depok Baru Station(behind Bus Station) and use KRL(Kereta Rel Listrik/Subway) to Pondok Cina Station (1 stop). Then walking to Venue. Cost KRL under $2 (Rp 15.000).
Another Route. Use Bus Damri, destination Pasar Minggu (PS. Minggu). Drop in last stop PS Minggu. Cost Damri: under $4 (Rp. 40.000). Then walking to Pasar Minggu Station (just cross the road using bridge). Use KRL to Pondok Cina Station (5 stop). Then walking to Venue. Cost KRL under $2 (Rp 15.000).

Getting around
KRL(Kereta Rel Listrik/Subway) services are abundant and available. The ticket is cheap (< 2$) and easy to take. Many place in Depok and Jakarta can reach by KRL. The nearest station from venue ist Pondok Cina Station.
The public bus service is not very good, but we will arrange for transportation for conference speakers and organizers.
Climate:
Depok has a tropical wet and dry climate. The rainfall in Depok is significant, with precipitation even during the driest month. Precipitation here averages 2848 mm. The temperatures are highest on average in October, at around 27.3 °C. At 25.8 °C on average, January is the coldest month of the year.
The city has two distinct seasons. The rainy season, which runs from May to October, sees high temperatures accompanied by high humidity. The dry season lasts from November to April when temperatures can drop to 22 °C (72 °F). But temperatures can approach 40 °C (104 °F) in April. The best months to visit the city are November to February when temperatures, humidity and rainfall are lower.
Eat:
Depok is full of unique and distinctive food, and sometimes served with a very distinctive way, which is not found elsewhere. Typical meal costs 1-4 Dollars. Chinesse Food and fried rice are always easy to find. We calculate more than 350 participants will join for FUDCon including 16 from Fedora Contributor.
Each participant require buy ticket to joint this FUDCon. Paying Ticket is commonly in Indonesia. It is one of our strategy to make more people join event. Ticket only sale for local participant. Attendee will pay with transfer method. We plan to make new bank account, dedicated for this event. After event done. we will close this account.
