Xiph.Org Formats
The Xiph.Org Foundation has produced several free media formats, including the Ogg media container format and the Vorbis audio, Theora video, Speex audio and FLAC lossless audio formats. They have released these formats without exercising restrictive patent or copyright options. These powerful and flexible formats provide a welcome alternative to more restricted formats, and Fedora Core fully supports these formats.
