Test Gnome Disk Usage Analyser

Setup

  1. Ensure that Gnome Disk Usage Analyser is installed.

How to test

  1. Run Gnome Disk Usage Analyser
  2. Check if all mounted and unmounted disks are shown
  3. / and /home/<user_name> should have spaces shown
  4. Click on Home Folder to start scan
  5. Check if the list is descending of space consumed by each directory
  6. Right click on something you don't need Move it to trash or Open folder to investigate
  7. Right top corner hamburger menu has preference
  8. Add a location in preference to make sure those directories are ignored

Expected Results

  1. Should be able to show consumed spaces
  2. Should be able to copy path links for requested dirs
  3. Should be able to move to trash
  4. Locations on ignore list shouldn't appear on scan
  5. By default, the scan result will be from what consumed most space to what consumes the least
  6. Mounting remote location should work
