  • Last modified: [[Date(2007-01-03T21:44:33Z)]
  • Owners: JeremyKatz, DavidZeuthen, JesseKeating
  • Targeted release: Fedora 7

Current status

  • Delivering live ISOs for i386 and x86_64 desktop as well as i386 KDE with test releases. Building is currently a manual process and not integrated with pungi.

Summary

Get installable LiveCDs/DVDs built and shipped as part of the normal release process.

Usage cases/rationale

Hugo wants to try out Fedora, but doesn't have time, or space, to allocate a disk partition to Fedora. Once he tries it, he may want to make space available to run it.

Montresor wants to be able to give out USB sticks with installed Fedora that anyone can use.

Scope

Requires work on pilgrim and anaconda, as well as possible integration into pungi for full tree spins.

Test Plan

1. Test that LiveCDs exist 1. Test that they boot and run
