FWIW, I don't think that the numbers of CD drive-less laptops is really significantly more than its been for a long time if you look at the percentages. It's really only on the ultra-portable end of the spectrum where it's always been because the larger laptops have a DVD drive as the manufacturers sell "watching movies on a plane" as a feature. But I still think promoting the use of USB keys over CDs for live images is the right thing to do -- katzj
