Why do you want to work with the Fedora Project?

Fedora Project possesses the repute of being one of the best as far as being a gateway for beginners in open source community coding is concerned .I got into open source coding in the late 2013 , and since then have been involved some reputed communities , but i fell for fedora once i got across it and since then have become a fan of its flexibility and simplicity for newcomers like me . It is tough to beleive but i am into my first commit within two weeks of my involvement in fedora .

Do you have any past involvement with the Fedora project or any other open source project as a contributor?

No , I got into open source coding as late as 2013 , though i have been part of many programming assignments like I have worked in a team responsible for development of a web portal for mentorsnet.org , besides i have participated in the ACM-ICPC 2013 , won several coding competitions in several domains , but it was after getting in touch with my mentors and guides , i was directed into the right train i.e open source coding . So , I am a new face as far as open source coding is concerned but that is due to myself being self-propelled in the absence of a guide , and view gsoc 2014 as my chance to channelize my coding abilities in the right way

Did you participate with the past GSoC programs, if so which years, which organizations?

No , I haven't participated in any of the past gsoc programs .

Will you continue contributing/ supporting the Fedora project after the GSoC 2014 program, if yes, which team(s),you are interested with?

Yes , I will be proud to continue to be a part of the vibrant Fedora project , and am interested in the WAARTAA project in particular .I must mention the most difficult part i felt in learning open source coding was to get into an IRC due to the raw and erratic service provided by orthodox IRCs available today . I see WAARTAA to be a highly successful venture and have developed a personal attachment with the same .

Why should we choose you over other applicants?

Well , I feel I make a strong case over my fellow applicants as i feel cases like me are the ideal purpose of a program like gsoc . GSOC aims at introducing new open source coders into community coding by providing the cushion of highly supportive mentors , which is very essential for coders like me , who have already boarded the wrong train in absence of an ideal guide , i hope gsoc and fedora accept my request as an individual's quest for helping channelize my knowledge in the right effort .

Though I haven't got any open source participation , i enclose the following link :

that might be helpful in proving my coding credentials . These contain the source file that form a section of my latest attempts at python powered gaming and app development .
