Description

This test case covers listing softwares and apps on Gnome Software

Setup

  • Ensure that GNOME Software is installed, and launch it.

How to test

  1. Open GNOME software and watch the landing page
  2. Click any app icon
  3. Watch out for screenshots, rating, description, installed size and other metadata
  4. Try to check for multiple such packages, both installed and not-installed
  5. Clicking the Open button should launch the software

Expected Results

  1. Software metadatas should be valid and well formated
  2. Listing the categories should work as expected
  3. Launching app should work as intended.
