I'm professional developer, system integrator, and administrator, who started working on computers for fun in 1978 and started working on computers for profit in 1993. I've been a long time user of Linux, starting with Slackware back in 1993.

I'm currently employed by HPE under their professional services department, where I provide consulting, integration, installation, and development support for Big Data systems and Kubernetes systems. Previously I've held various jobs that has led to interaction, if not expertise in a wide breath of topics.

Currently I contribute to the SPIFFE / SPIRE community, under the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, overseen by the Linux Foundation. Through HPE, I assist fortune 100 companies migrating into Zero Trust architectures, leveraging the SPIFFE standard and SPIRE software to provide constantly rotating Workload Identities in the form of x.509 and JWT certificates.
