AirAsia (http://www.airasia.com) provides cheap flight from APAC countries into Malaysia. For most recent prices, check airasia.com.  
You can also grab a 3G prepaid sim for internet, they are relatively cheap and should be decent enough for browsing the internet.  


We will be trying to get discount codes from AirAsia., not sure how that'll work out.

Flight price listed below includes return flight, (regular prices, checked on May 29 2011, for flight in on 14th June 2012, flight out on 18th June 2012). Early booking tend to be half the price cheaper under their promo price.
You will need to activate the daily plans before using, else you'll be charged by bytes which is very expensive. So make sure you follow the steps provided by the provider to activate. Usually the activation simply requires sending some SMS to a particular number.


Flight from KLIA-LCCT to Johor might be a bit on the high side, those who are adventurous might want to travel south to Johor on train or bus.
