Apply for a new account

This is where you can apply for a new account in the Fedora Account System .

You will need to fill in the following information, as applicable:

  • Username - This would be the short name you would like to use for your account. The username must be lowercase alphanumeric, and the first character cannot be a number.
  • Your full name - This would be your full, real name.
  • E-mail address - The address you would like to use for the various Fedora components
  • This same email address should be used for your Bugzilla account

Some of your information, such as your email address, may be available to others in the Fedora community as required for the proper functioning of the project, but your private information will not be shared or sold to third parties. For more information, refer to the Privacy Policy .


Complete the Fedora Project Contributor Agreement (FPCA)
The FPCA is required for new Fedora Project contributors to protect both the Contributor and the Fedora Project. It makes certain that Fedora can remain forever free and open source.
