Many people contributed their free time to the Fonts SIG and it's nice to see it noticed:

  • Stephen Carter writes in February 2009 our new packaging templates are much easier on new packagers.
  • Karsten Wade wrote this very nice article in February 2009. The efforts of fonts packagers in 2008 were not in vain!
  • Nicolas Spalinger credited the SIG for the difference it made on his XO in October 2008. Always nice to read, especially from a member of the Debian/Ubuntu fonts team[1] ☺☺☺.
  • Máirín Duffy, of artTeam fame, published an interesting study in September 2007. Her article lead directly to the creation of the Fonts SIG.

Fonts in Fedora
The Fonts SIG takes loving care of Fedora fonts. Please join this special interest group if you are interested in creating, improving, packaging, or just suggesting a font. Any help will be appreciated.
  1. Which is doing good work too, BTW.
