I Love to work and discuss about Fedora and Linux with my Friends and with my College Juniors and I also try to make things simpler while using Linux . I am trying to implement Fedora in our next project with GOI(Goverment Of India ) on E-governance Project in my home town on Jan Seva Kendra (Common Service Center )in collaboration with U.P Government
District - Agra.
Tehsil - Fathehabad.

My Fedora Journey

I came to know about Linux(Fedora) when i was in my Second Year of B.Tech (Engineering ) and got a little bit picture when i attended my First technical event [FREED.in] Jawahar Lal Nehru university , New Delhi . I did not had any computer system with on which i should have worked on . So I tried to manage from college libraries . Our College has given me alot related to Linux stuff and by the End of my Fourth of B.Tech I was able to get to know the Redhat from Our college System Administrator Mr. Sarvendra Pradhan Poswal. He tought us so many things while working on Linux .

We Learned some of the technical concept while i was learning and exploring Redhat in college :

1. DNS
2. Proxy
3. Web Server ( Apache )
4. NFS
5. Email Server
6. Yum
7. Networking

We have setup our development environment on Fedora for our Blog development on Wordpress .

Projects

We are using Fedora as our development environment for some of the project using open source technology . I am listing some of them .

Running

1. Campustechies  : Explore the world of Opensource

  Its a blog which i am maintaining using Opensource technology .

  We are actively involved in implementation  of fedora system in LAB of College . 
  Target : To install it on atleast 50 Lab system and make Opensource Lab in the College . 
  Progress : Successfully Installed in 16 System , 5 of them are Running on boot  and remaining are running Virtually .

1. Conducted Linux workshops in College Fest . Jaagriti (RajKumar Goel Institute of Technology )
2. Member of RajKumar Goel Institute of Technology Lug - RKGLUG and ILUG-Delhi in NCR/New Delhi .
