Description

Ensure it's possible to install packages via the command line with yum


How to test

  1. Boot fedora instance
  2. Get to a bash prompt
  3. attempt to install a package (emacs, nginx, apache, etc) via yum
  4. Use/configure the installed package
  5. reboot the instance
  6. verify installed package functions

Expected Results

The following must be true to consider this a successful test run.

  1. yum finishes without error
  2. The installed package runs without error
  3. System successfully reboots
